MISSION STATEMENT

The Department of Radiation Oncology is dedicated to providing the highest quality cancer care, developing new therapies for cancer patients through research, and educating the next generation of outstanding physicians & researchers.

VISION STATEMENT

The Department will be an academic radiation oncology facility that is recognized as a national and international leader in the field of Radiation Oncology and as a leader within the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.

Patient focus- Our focus will always remain on the patient while delivering the best patient care and offering clinical research studies
Respect for the individual- We value and acknowledge the contributions of every individual.
Teamwork- We will work as a team both within and outside the department to optimize multidisciplinary patient care and support the mission of the health system.
Efficiency- We will work to achieve high efficiency in order to preserve resources needed to meet our strategic goals.
