Major Teaching and Clinical Responsibilities for the University of Pennsylvania

Responsible for training medical students who elect to spend time in Radiation Oncology.

Responsible for radiotherapeutic input for a variety of teaching conferences including Residents and Fellows of various specialties. Special attention toward teaching trainees to learn to read literature.

Responsible for a wide range of lectures to house staff and outside institutions as requested. These lectures generally deal with basics of radiation therapy, new developments of radiation therapy, lymphoma, lung cancer, sarcoma, breast cancer, rectal cancer, mycosis fungoides and brain tumors. These also include lectures on photodynamic therapy, radiosensitivity, radioprotection and principles of oncology.
