Centers of Excellence
At the University of Pennsylvania Department of Radiation Oncology, we believe in multidisciplinary care that is individually tailored to each patient. We work very closely with surgeons, medical oncologists, and various other specialists to devise a management plan specific to each patient’s needs with the goal of the best clinical outcome possible. We integrate a variety of additional clinical resources with world-class expertise to fulfill any unmet needs, including Nursing, Nutrition, Physical Rehabilitation, and Social Work. All together, this consortium of healthcare professionals form a patient care team, a team that skillfully coordinates the entire medical experience for patients and their loved ones, from diagnosis to cure.
